Founded in 1971 in Viña del Mar as a family-run bakery, La Quinta has grown into a major player in the frozen pastry market, supplying renowned supermarket chains such as Jumbo, Santa Isabel, and Lider. With three production plants across Chile, the company is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation. Recognizing the need to enhance efficiency and production capacity, La Quinta partnered with us through Pórtan, our trusted local distributor in Chile.

Boosting Efficiency with Spiral Freezing Technology

To support La Quinta’s operations, we supplied a state-of-the-art deep-freezing spiral, designed to optimize their production process. This advanced system receives cakes at approximately 5°C and rapidly lowers their thermal center to -15°C, ensuring product consistency and quality. With an average processing capacity of 500 cakes per hour, La Quinta can now meet growing demand while maintaining efficiency and reliability.
